The written test for ISRO Scientist/Engineer consists of 80 objective-type questions carrying equal marks. The written test is the first level screening only and the score of the written test will not be considered for the final selection process

Candidates shortlisted in the online written test will receive call letters for the ISRO Selection Interview to be held at various locations.

ISRO Exam Date 2021: Final Result Date
In the scheme of selection for ISRO Administrative Officer/Accounts Officer/Purchase or Stores Officer, the performance in the written test carries 60% weightage and the performance in the interview has 40% weightage.
However, in ISRO Scientist/Engineer Recruitment, the final selection is completely based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Those who obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the interview in the order of merit will be eligible for consideration for empanelment. It does not mean that every candidate who secures more than 60% marks in the interview will be appointed. The appointment of a Scientist/Engineer will depend on the vacancies available in ISRO and the validity period of the result.
ISRO Recruitment's final result release date will be updated soon after the interview process is over. Candidates must check this page regularly to make sure that they do not miss the declaration of the final result by ISRO as there is a deadline for various post recruitment processes required before joining the organization.
